I forgot my passphrase. It cannot be recovered. Filacium does not have your passphrase and holds no copy of your data, so there is nothing to reset from. That is the cost of your data being yours alone — please write your recovery passphrase down somewhere safe.
Will my data move to a new phone? With Recoverable Backup enabled, a standard iOS backup or device migration can restore it; without that setting it does not move automatically. You can also export an encrypted backup bundle to Files or iCloud Drive and import it on the new device.
Is my data uploaded to your servers? Complete records and attachments are not. If you turn on Care notifications, the app sends the anonymous token, check-in times and rules, and encrypted contact details needed to send designation notices, positive updates, or missed-check-in alerts. The app attempts to remove the server watch when you turn the feature off; this can be delayed while offline. The email provider handles the recipient address and message body.
Can I export my data? Yes — CSV, Excel, PDF and image formats are supported.
